Materials and stock
Know what you hold, where it is, and which project took it.
One material catalogue feeds your quotations and your store. Keep stock across main stores, branches, vehicles and sites, move it with transfers, issue it to projects, take returns, and read every movement in a ledger.
What does the materials module do? It keeps your catalogue of panels, inverters, structures and cables with brands, specifications and price history, tracks stock in several warehouses, and records every receipt, transfer, issue and return in a movement ledger.

How it works
From catalogue to ledger.
Every number the store reports comes from a recorded movement, so stock can be explained, not just counted.
Build the catalogue
Add items with category, brand, specifications, unit, GST rate and reorder level. Vendors can be linked to the materials they supply.
Receive stock
Record purchases and opening stock into a warehouse, with the cost of each lot.
Move and issue
Transfer between warehouses, issue to a project, take returns, and write off damage or loss with a reason.
Read the ledger
Each movement shows type, quantity, cost and reference, so any difference between the books and the shelf has a trail.
What it does
A store that matches the site.
One catalogue for quote and store
Quotations are priced from the same catalogue the store issues from, so item names, specifications and rates stay consistent.
- Seventeen product types
- Specifications stored with each item
Price history
Keep purchase, quotation and selling prices over time, and promote a purchase price into your quotation price when you decide to.
- Three price types
- A record of every change
Multiple warehouses
Hold stock in a main store, branches, sites, vehicles or temporary locations, and transfer between them with a paired record.
- Five warehouse types
- Paired transfer in and out
Stock ledger
Ten movement types cover opening stock, purchase receipt, transfers, project issue and return, reservation, adjustment and damage or loss.
- Every movement has a reason or reference
- Filter by material, warehouse or project
Availability and alerts
See on-hand, reserved and available quantity for every item. A low stock alert appears when available stock falls to the reorder level.
- Reservations reduce availability
- In-app low stock notification
Suppliers and purchase records
Record supplier quotes, purchase orders and tax invoices with GST by line, and receive the stock into a warehouse.
- Supplier and preferred vendor per item
- Serial numbers captured on receipt
On every project
Issue material to the job it belongs to.
Material issued to a project and material returned from it are recorded against that project, so the cost and quantity that went into a job are visible and a returned item goes back to the shelf.
- Issue to a project from a chosen warehouse
- Returns recorded and added back to stock
- Damage and loss recorded with a reason
- Reserve stock for a job before it is issued
